About E-Giving
Here is a little more detail about on-line giving. Every on-line financial transaction comes with a transaction fee. We work with a service called Vanco, who is the leading processor for churches, schools, and other non-profits.
-
Giving by On-line Check (ACH). These transactions take place directly between your bank account and ours (requiring you to enter your checking/routing information). Vanco processes that transaction and charges us 1% of the total gift.
-
Giving by Debit Card. These transactions add a third party to the mix – the card service itself (Visa, Mastercard, etc.). They also charge a fee (much larger than Vanco’s). Right now, the total fee for giving via debit card is 3%.
As a church, we are always happy to pay those fees on your behalf. We are extremely grateful for everyone's financial partnership with us, whatever method they use.

The on-line giving tool we use (Realm) offers the option of adding to your gift to cover the fee. You are welcome to click that box, or you can add any amount of your own to your gift. Again -- we are just happy that you have chosen to give.

Finally, if you are not giving a tithe or offering, please use the "Memo" line to tell us what it is for. Our financial secretary appreciates clarity of instruction where you intend the money to be used.
