Family Game Night
Wednesday, May 12
6:00 PM
Fellowship Hall
Bring your favorite board game and join us for a night of fellowship! We will also have corn hole set up in the Gym.
We are so excited to share this amazing show with you in The Disciples' Pathway this summer! Beginning Wednesday, June 2, we will watch the first season of the Chosen and engage in discussion using the "What Does it Mean to Be Chosen?" study guide. The staff has been amazed at the quality and biblical integrity of this show. Sure, they have to take some artistic license, but even then they have worked hard to make sure it does not contradict what the Gospels tell us and remain amazingly historically and culturally accurate. The acting is superb, the cinematography beautiful, the writing compelling. We hope you can join us beginning June 2. You will be blessed!
June 11, 2021 Faith & Family Night Green Jackets Baseball Game
Join us for a night at the ballpark! The buses will leave the church at 6:00 PM for the 7:00 PM game and we hope to be back in town by 10:45 PM. Tickets are only $9!
June 20-24 Vacation Bible School
VBS is BACK!!! We are gearing up for In-Person VBS this year! All aboard for an awesome week learning about how Jesus' power can pull us through anything! You can register your child beginning Sunday, May 16!
Samaritan's Purse is looking for volunteers! If you are interested in volunteering to help pack Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes in Charlotte, North Carolina on June 12 or June 18 please email Hope Colrud at brandihopecolrud@gmail.com.
Can't attend either of those dates? You can still be a vital part of what we do by praying. Prayer is so important in all that we do here at Operation Christmas Child. Please be in prayer for traveling mercies for those who will be going to the processing center, pray for each box as it is prepared for the child the Lord has chosen to receive it. Pray for the ministry partners as they present the gospel and deliver shoeboxes and specifically pray for each child's heart to be open to receiving the gospel.
“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”
– Proverbs 22:6
We want to thank our Cornerstone Preschool staff for helping our little ones start off on the right path! We are blessed with an amazing staff and we enjoyed celebrating and loving on them a little extra this week for Teacher Appreciation Week.

There is no higher calling than to be a Christian parent. If you are a Mom, or a Dad, God has entrusted to you a precious life created in His image for whom Jesus died. It is our job to raise them up in the fear and instruction of the Lord and to send them out into the world as ambassadors for Christ. As we continue in Mark, we discover three important aspects of our job in raising them up and sending them out!
