Cornerstone Preschool is a ministry of the First Baptist Church to teach our children and their families how to love God, love people, and make disciples of Jesus from all generations. We provide physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development for children ages one through five in a safe, Christian environment. We use Bible-based curriculum to teach children about God and His world as they participate in art, home-living, blocks, puzzles, books, nature, outdoor play, music and Bible story group time, using age-appropriate learning activities that meet the needs of the whole child.

If there is sufficient interest, we can offer a Monday-Friday class for 2s and 3s. Fees are related to the number of days per week your child attends classes. There is a registration fee, but families only pay one such fee, and there is also a discount for early registration. Contact the Preschool office for more information.
Our Philosophy and Curriculum
Cornerstone Preschool uses the Wee-Learn curriculum, which focuses equally on physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual development. Wee-Learn organizes individual, small-group, and large-group activities around the themes of God, Jesus, the Bible, the church, self, others and the natural world in order to build a foundation for life.

PHILOSOPHY
Our Preschool’s goal is to help children reach their maximum potential and learn to work and relate with others. Children are accepted in their current state of development. They are helped to grow within their spiritual, physical, mental, social and emotional potential. Each child is encouraged in our preschool to develop a creative and inquiring mind, good relationships with others, and a loving awareness of God. Our 1s and 2s are developing language, pre-reading, pre-writing, and other foundational skills. Our 3s are developing language, reading, writing, and math skills. Our 4s and 5s are developing those things and kindergarten or first grade readiness skills.

Find Out More / Set Up a Visit
Our Preschool has its own entrance for drop-off and pick-up. However, if you want to visit our preschool, you will need to enter from the inside of the building. Park on the Post Office side of the building, enter through the covered entrance, and take the elevator to "3". There is a door and doorbell in front of you. If you have made an appointment, they will be ready for you when you ring!
We are in the process of migrating all of our registration and payments to the wonderful online tool Brightwheel.

If you are a current student and want to pay tuition online, you will need to make sure you have signed up for Brightwheel. Once you have set up your account, you will have the ability to pay any tuition or fees that are owed.

In the future, registration will also take place online using Brightwheel. For now, you can get on our waiting list using Brightwheel. Please use the link below to start your registration inquiry or to be put on the waitlist if we are full. Once your account is set up, the Director will contact you to advise you on admission and registration payment.
